Welcome to Carfrae from Dorothy and Hamish Gibson. We hope you will come
and enjoy a stay at our Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast in Scotland. Our home is a Victorian stone building built in 1844, it overlooks a walled garden where you can sit in the summerhouse and enjoy a stunning view of the Lammermuir Hills. The b&b is well appointed, beautifully furnished and non-smoking to offer very good accommodation in this peaceful corner of Scotland. |

We have a secluded Loch area where
you can walk and enjoy the Scottish wildlife. Perhaps you will
see ducks, swans, herons and many other Scottish birds that
nest there.
The bed and breakfast farm is just over 800 acres growing cereals, potatoes and
grassland that are grazed by sheep and cattle. As part of the Scottish countryside
premiere scheme we actively manage our 150 acres of woodland
and hedgerows some of which are a SSS I area. On an early morning
stroll you may see a fox, roe deer, lots of pheasants and even
a badger. |
