There are many places of interest nearby. Edinburgh is easily accessible from our B&B
by car, bus or train. East Lothian has very many golf courses and the Border
area with its Abbey and Woollen Mills is only one hour away. We are surrounding
by picturesque villages. The Scottish coastal town of North Berwick is home to the sea bird center where there is a live connection to the Bass Rock. And there is, also, a small harbour. During the summer you can sail to the Bass Rock
and see close at hand the thousands of sea birds that live there |

The Scottish beaches of East Lothian are excellent and relatively quiet. There are many clean, beautiful Scottish beaches which are only known by local people, so it is always worth asking around about where the best beaches are.
There are galleries, castles and plenty of houses to visit and the
Glenkinshie Distillery
at Pencaitland has an excellent visitor centre. The area is well served with
excellent restaurants,
the nearest pub is in Garvald, 1 mile, and serves good food
